Office Manager and Project Assistant
- Twenty hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Opportunity to learn about the Real Estate business and to grow with the
company
- Home Office setting one block north, one block east of UC Campus in
North Berkeley
Sage Property Solutions is an innovative Real Estate management and development
company run from a home office in North Berkeley. Staff consists of owner Kent
Mitchell, the Office Manager, and several outside contractors. We are seeking an
organized, detail-oriented individual and excellent communicator to assist with
and to keep all projects on track, to facilitate business of the real estate
management company and other projects through research, purchasing, record
keeping, contractor scheduling and follow-up, project tracking, protocol
development and other office management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Office Management
- Communications, including email, phone, letters
- Office Organization
- Support all aspects of property management, including posting of
rental listings, coordination with tenants, contractors, Rental Agents,
and Resident Managers to facilitate new move-ins and maintenance
requests
- Create and maintain protocols and procedures
- Administrative support to Kent Mitchell
Project Assistance
- Management of projects list, assuring that all projects stay on
track
- Carry projects to completion, with support from supervisor as
needed
- Research new properties and wealth-building improvements to
properties
Skills Required:
- Interested to learn and grow: willing to try things several
ways to achieve best solution
- Excellent ability to communicate with supervisor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and
external relationships
- Ability to assess and analyze project issues/ problems and
create solutions
- System focused: the systems we set up are ultimately the
product we provide our clients
- Strong organization ability; good at prioritizing
- Ability to work both independently and with supervision
- Highly flexible to changing job tasks and responsibilities
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, some QuickBooks,
ability to maintain Mac computer systems, with technical support
as needed
- 2-4 years experience in a dynamic, professional office
setting
